The ultimate sales playbook – Jack Daly | episode 22 recap
Here is a proven CEO/Entrepreneur, having built 6 companies into national firms, two of which he has subsequently sold to the Wall Street firms of Solomon Brothers and First Boston.
Anyone trying to build a business or in sales will especially benefit from Jack’s lessons. He is a leading sales speaker and trainer with over 30 years of sales and executive experience. In addition to his comprehensive professional background, Jack holds a BS in Accounting, as well as an MBA, and was a Captain in the U.S. Army. Jack Daly is an Amazon Best Selling Author and has written and contributed to many books, including Hyper Sales Growth and The Sales Playbook for Hyper Sales Growth. Jack is a 15-time Ironman competitor and has completed over 93 marathons in 50 states and on seven continents, so you know we had to get him on the show!
In the research phase, we went into his audiobook version of Hypersales, and it was remarkable in that every word that he delivered was with passion and complete immersion in his subject matter, we were sold, we just knew that the energy he would bring to the show would be electric and he didn’t disappoint.
Jack’s message is simple, its timeless and even with the changes in technology his principles of work ethic, structures and systems, and prospect and customer engagement are timeless, the era he came up in required a 10X attitude and mindset, Jack is all in, there is no doubt about it, but his message is also about how to leverage resources to enable us to work smarter “not” harder.
I would say the biggest takeaway other than the “rev up” that I got from the conversation is Jack’s message on “life by design” which I am a massive advocate of. When Jack was 13, he had the opportunity to interview 200 successful business owners. Their advice on success launched him on his way to a “life by design. This is all about being super intentional with goals effectively creating a business plan every year that represents your whole life, this is something that I have never done, but found interesting, especially understanding the accountability factor when sharing it which he advocates too.
This was definitely an impactful conversation for me personally, but I am sure that all of you within the Ultrahabits tribe will find it super relevant for daily life in the arena!
